You lit up our life at Community Sing

sing along crowd at Community Sing

It was indeed a grand night for singing on Peace Plaza for our annual Community Sing, hosted by UM-R CONNECTS. From Petula Clark's "Downtown" to Bette Midler's "Wind Beneath My Wings" we sang our way from the 60s to the 80s, spending most of our time in the groovy 70s. Speaking of groovy, our combo, Bob and the Groovesters (Bob Giere on guitar, Jan Kvam on keyboard, Tony Tschida on bass and Dan Van Hook on drums), really led the way for our group karaoke session, keeping us in the rhythm and spirit of the songs.

It does a body, individual and corporate, good to sit with others and make music. Thank you for sharing your time, talent, and good will with us and with your neighbors.

We are also grateful for the support of UM-R in providing this venue and to Sister Sun and Brother Moon for the perfect evening.

Come share music with us again throughout the season at our concerts and next summer's Community Sing as well.
