What sweeter music

(photos above: Dale Warland, Ruth Warland, Lloyd Ketterling, Patte Ketterling; Dale, Rick, Lloyd; CAE; Family Holiday Concert at Rochester Public Library) What a weekend! We had a lovely time singing for warm, welcoming, and holiday-spirited audiences, both in Lourdes Chapel and at the Rochester Public Library. Thank you for sharing the music with us! It was also an honor having Dale Warland with us as we premiered The Bird of Dawning, the 2016 Lloyd Ketterling Christmas Carol that he wrote for us. This was the sixth in a series of ten carols, and anyone is welcome to help support future carols, not only the family, friends, and former students of this influential Rochester choir director.

Come early to hear Dale Warland!

We are so excited that Dale Warland is not only going to be present at each of the three concerts this weekend, but he will also give a brief talk before the concerts. Starting around 7:00 pm on Friday and Saturday and 3:30 pm on Sunday, Dale will talk about the new Lloyd Ketterling Christmas Carol he wrote for us as well as other thoughts on his life in conducting and composing. He may even take questions so if there is something you always wanted to ask, be sure to join us for this pre-concert talk right in Lourdes Chapel.
