Pieces like William Dawson’s arrangement of There is a Balm in Gilead and Morten Lauridsen’s gorgeous Sure on this Shining Night will inspire with their beauty, while folk songs and hymn arrangements like Simple Gifts and Little Innocent Lamb remind us that songs of joy can be very comforting indeed! This CD can be purchased alone or as a care package (includes a notecard featuring the cover photo of the disc and a padded envelope) so you can send this disc to those in need of music’s special healing powers.
