Choral Arts Ensemble has been selected to participate in Minnesota Voices, a program of the American Composers Forum celebrating Minnesota’s upcoming sesquicentennial. Six choirs from different regions around the state have been chosen to premiere a new commissioned choral work about their respective region. CAE will premiere a piece about southeast Minnesota written by Minnesota composer J. David Moore at our “Hail Minnesota!” concert May 10, 2008. The Minnesota Voices project will culminate with an appearance by all participating choirs at the Minnesota State Fair August 23, 2008.
