Friday, December 9, 2011 – 7:30 pm A tradition returns to the holiday landscape of Southeast Minnesota – Choral Arts Ensemble’s Christmas at Assisi! Sounds of the season will inspire you inside the beautiful walls of Lourdes Chapel, one of Rochester’s most beloved spaces. The first annual Lloyd Ketterling Christmas Carol, composed this year by René Clausen, honors one of Rochester’s most cherished public school choir directors. Works by Francis Poulenc, Tomas Luis de Victoria, Eric Whitacre, and John Rutter will be offered alongside traditional favorites like Wassail Song and Lo, How a Rose. Join CAE and guest conductor David Dickau (pictured above) for this eclectic program that will be sure to lift your holiday spirits to new heights!
