The holiday sounds of the Choral Arts Ensemble have been warming the hearts of our audiences for more than twenty years and we invite you to join us this year as we carry on the tradition! Music representing worldwide traditions will be featured alongside familiar carols that have become audience favorites. CAE will also premiere the 2007 Mary Joyce Frantz Memorial Carol, Calm on the Listening Ear of Night by David Dickau, and will perform treasures by Morten Lauridsen, John Rutter, and Bob Chilcott. Kirke Mechem’s delightful Seven Joys of Christmas, a suite built around popular carols such as Patapan, Ding Dong! Merrily on High, and Fum, fum, fum!, is sure to bring our program to a festive close. Please join us to see and hear this annual concert which has become one of Rochester’s most beloved holiday events!
