CAE’s Silver Anniversary season begins with a gift exchange – from us to you! Last season we invited our audiences to vote for their favorite pieces, and many of you (several hundred, in fact) returned ballots full of outstanding choral music. As the celebration of our first twenty-five years commences, we will survey many of your choices including music of Palestrina, a Verdi opera chorus, the lush and ethereal sounds of Morten Lauridsen and David Dickau, and, of course, several exciting spirituals. CAE will also premiere a piece by Japanese composer Kentaro Sato commissioned specifically to help us celebrate our silver jubilee. Don’t miss out on the festivities as we usher in our twenty-fifth year of choral excellence!
